It was so much fun to go to the home of the Henry family to help welcome Tiago! Only a few days old, we captured them just hanging out at home enjoying their new addition. Those big brothers were just thrilled and I was even there to watch Teo hold his new brother for the first time! The last time I saw Teo, he was just born! I love it when that happens.
This joyous little family join me in the studio to document their newborn session. Big Brother tagged along and provided the most amazing comic relief for us. He was a doll, but had zero interest in his new brother. What that meant is a lot of time spent "tricking" him into a photo. Towards the end, he stopped and said, "I know what you are doing... you are TRICKING ME!!!" We lost it. He was proof that toddlers/preschoolers know so much more than we think they do! We ended up with some of the most beautiful and authentic family, sibling, and individual portraits. I loved it.
After getting to photograph Laney and Sammy's newborn sessions and meeting Jules when she first arrived, it was an honor to shoot her newborn session as well. She came to our Dallas natural light studio for her individual portraits. They have a stunning home in Rockwall, so for the portraits of all three kiddos, we photographed them in their home. Not only are the more comfortable, but we were able to incorporate their home in the photographs and shoot all three kiddos outdoors. They just love their new baby sister which made it so fun to photograph them.
These three kiddos are so much fun! Having photographed both boys as newborns, it was so exciting to meet their little sister. They are the best siblings and just love her so much. She will have to work to keep up with them! We photographed in their Lucas, Texas home as well as in our natural light Dallas studio. The boys were great and little Marleigh was a perfect angel.
Just a quick sneak peek from a recent newborn session with sweet, little Piper! She was a gem and I loved the color in this one.
