The Birth of Greyson Creed

I know how patiently this beautiful family waited for the arrival of this boy, and I know they have been waiting for these sneak peeks!!!  He is the tiniest and cutest little man ever and he was totally surrounded by love when he arrived.  The lovely Ceci photographed this birth and it might have some of my fav images ever!

The Birth of Arya

I was so honored to attend Arya's birth!  I love it when there is a lot of family present.  The excitement is contagious!  There were grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, a big brother and more.  The room was literally filled with love.  I watched grandpa lovingly kiss his granddaughter followed by big brother not wanting to let go of her.  I think this little girl will have plenty of family to watch her grow!

I was so excited to help welcome this little man into the world. This sweet family has six girls at home and were overjoyed to discover baby number 7 was a boy! I was blessed to be there when they had their 6th daughter, so it was so much fun to be there again. Little Joshua came out strong and mighty and had an opinion for sure. He may have been on the smaller side, but he wasn't going to let that stop him. He is just simply delicious and I can only imagine he is never set down with all those sisters wanting to love on him all the time. Congrats, you guys! He is in the best home! krbirth_web_1

{Mercy Elizabeth~ September 8, 2011} Dallas- Lewisville- Downtown Birth Photographer

Words can't express the honor it was to be at this birth.  Sweet Mercy was diagnosed with Trisomy 13 and was not expected to live.  I was there to document the time they had with her and to share in the joy and sorrow of her birth.  I was honored.  Everything went smoothly and the staff at the hospital was really wonderful.  The best part is Mercy is still with her family.  They know she won't last too much longer, but every minute they get to share with her is truly a gift from God.adbirth_web_1 adbirth_web_2

{Take Two!} Arlington- Irving- Grapevine Maternity Photographer

I very rarely have to reschedule session due to births. Somehow it always seems to work out. However, This poor couple was bumped twice! Early in the week I had a client go in for an induction. We decided to reschedule, just in case. We met up the following Saturday instead. Wouldn't you know that about half way through our session, I get a call from a client saying she is 10cm and I should come now! Holy cow! I felt badly for jolting out, but it had to happen! So I was glad when the NEXT Saturday, we had absolutely lovely weather and the perfect location. The gardens were blooming and mom and dad just looked amazing. I love outdoor maternity images and these are some of my favorites!

{Kennedy ~ September 12, 2010} Arlington- Irving- Grapevine Birth Photographer

Sweet Kennedy arrived as scheduled to an amazingly loving family. Her dad, being a high school football coach, asked that she come inbetween game weeks and she did! If she wasn't going to have him wrapped around her finger already, that would have done it. She came out with the most gorgeous curly hair and an attitude to match! She was strong and fiesty! She knew what she wanted (to eat) and was going to let everyone know about it. It was great! It is always such an honor to see the instant bond of a new family and this was no exception. Congrats you guys!

{Camille ~ September 9, 2010} Plano- Allen- Dallas Birth Photographer

About 18 months ago, I had the honor of attending the birth of Reid. He was born by c-section because he was breech. You can imagine my excitement when his mama called to tell me they were pregnant again! This time she was attempting a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesearean). And they were expecting a baby girl! All the way around it was exciting. She went into labor on the 8th and we arrived at the hospital just before a huge storm hit Dallas, causing tornados! It couldn't get more eventful! Her mama worked so hard. She was calm and strong and showed everyone in the room how much power a birthing mom can have and she acheived her VBAC! I was thrilled for this beautiful family. I am honored to have attended this birth.

{Sunny ~ July 29, 2010} Dallas- Richardson- Plano Birth Photographer

Little Sunny decided that he was tired of waiting and was gonna skip to the front of the line! Needless to say, I was surprised to get a phone call from his mama saying her water had broken and she was only 35 weeks. As luck would have it, I was in the midst of birthing chaos and was running from one mama to another. The lovely Laura King of A Joyful Birth was able to fill in for labor support while I was my other client. I came and went when I could to get pictures of their journey. I was so happy to make it back for his actual birth.  While nothing went the way mom had planned, this little man was born beautifully and was so strong!  It was amazing.  I am excited for this sweet new family.  Congrats again you guys!
