I had the honor of photographing Mercury's big sisters birth a few years ago and was so honored to get to help welcome this little man into the world. Amazingly, he wasn't so little! He weighed in at 10lbs 7oz and was just as beautiful as his big sister. Thanks again you guys for having me there. It is always a pleasure!
I was so excited when Miss Isabella's mama told me she was on her way to the hospital in labor! I knew she would do beautifully and was honored to attend their birth. Her mama labored beautifully and against some tough odds, but she did an amazing job. Sweet Isabella was born into a loving family who were so excited to meet her! She is just gorgeous. Without further ado, the pictures!
I have never gotten out the door for a birth as quickly as I did when I got the call to attend Ava's birth. I was there when her big sister was born a year ago and her birth was quick. We anticipated that Miss Ava would also arrive quickly. When her mama called to say that she felt tremendous pressure, I told her to head to the hospital and I would meet her there. We weren't sure what was going on. Upon arrival, her mama was 9cm and Ava was born within about 45 minutes of pulling into the parking lot. WHEW!!! That was close. It was, ofcourse, a gorgeous birth and Ava is just as beautiful as her big sister. What a lucky family to have to joy of raising to sweet sisters.
Little Miss Allie decided that she would cause us all distress over her method of arrival. After weeks of being breech and refusing to budge, her Mama went in to the hospital to see if they could flip her. Much to our delight, they were able to do so! I headed up to the hospital a little sooner than might have been necessary, but I had a feeling that this little girl would get a move on and come out quickly. Boy was I right! It wasn't 2 hours later and she was in her mama's arms. It was quite a whirlwind, but this lovely family worked beautifully together.
The exciting part? I was their when their first baby came into this world 4 years ago. I couldn't believe that I was sitting there having a conversation with "baby" Andrew. Time flies way too quickly. Thanks again you guys. I wouldn't have missed it for anything!
