About 18 months ago, I had the honor of attending the birth of Reid. He was born by c-section because he was breech. You can imagine my excitement when his mama called to tell me they were pregnant again! This time she was attempting a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesearean). And they were expecting a baby girl! All the way around it was exciting. She went into labor on the 8th and we arrived at the hospital just before a huge storm hit Dallas, causing tornados! It couldn't get more eventful! Her mama worked so hard. She was calm and strong and showed everyone in the room how much power a birthing mom can have and she acheived her VBAC! I was thrilled for this beautiful family. I am honored to have attended this birth.
