hudson alexander- dallas area nicu photographer

I had the sacred honor of meeting Hudson and his family a few days after his arrival at the Children's Hospital. He has HLHS and was awaiting a very important heart surgery. In fact, he is in surgery as I type this and thoughts and prayers are constantly going up for him! I was able to go to the hospital for a modified newborn type session. My favorite thing was when his mama said it was the first bit of normal they had had in a while. We were able to get photos of just him in his newborn sweetness before surgery. The nurses were awesome at helping us and Hudson was so good! He just snuggled in and let us work our magic. Hoping that the images below bring some light and joy to a day filled with anticipation and waiting.
