Klyde Warren Park is a fun alternative to traditional parks. There are a variety of settings including fountains, modern art, wooden structures, grass, plant life, trees and even food trucks. It can be very crowded on weekends and parking can be tricky.

Deep Ellum is an eclectic arts community in Dallas. It boasts beautiful wall murals, art, sculptures and a community garden. Please note that this is a very urban location with busy streets, patrons consuming alcohol and a busy nightlife. Depending on the time of day, it may not be appropriate for your session/.children. We do not recommend this spot for non-walking kids as the ground has broken glass and trash.

White Rock Lake is a beautiful spot to take photos. There are hills, docks, lake front, trees, open grasses and sometimes even bluebonnets and other wildflowers. The area can sometimes have large amount of trash following big storms, so be mindful of that.

Pranther Park is adjacent to Highland Park Town Hall and is absolutely gorgeous year round. There are stone bridges, pathways, a fountain, creek and trees that bloom flowers and change in the fall. Bathrooms are on accessible when the library is open, which can be a challenge. It is a great spot for green backgrounds during the winter.

The entire campus is just beautiful! There are stairs, bridges, balconies, grassy areas, trees and beautiful flower gardens. There are times when there may be events or festivals that make access difficult and parking harder. We prefer shooting near the Cox Business School. It is easily accessible and has some beautiful spots.

Haggard Park is the main park in Old Towne Plano. If is also home of the Interurban Railway Museum, so the train offers a unique backdrop. Otherwise the park has grassy areas, fountains, a pond, a gazebo, bridges and walkways.

Arbor Hills Nature Preserve is just like it sounds. Hills, trees, creek, bridges, and nature are everywhere! There are some easy paved trails and more natural dirt trails. Parking is easy and the park is HUGE, so it is easy to find unique spots. Please keep in mind that it is a nature preserve and we have seen snakes and tarantulas before!
