So this sweet family has had to wait very patiently to see their birth sneak peeks since the server transfer managed to take down the blog! We are back up and running and I am so excited to share the arrival of Spencer. What a sweet and CHUNKY little man he is and I am honored to have been there for his speedy arrival. Mom and Dad were an amazing team and mom was able to acheive her desired birth. Welcome, Spencer! You are a lucky boy to have such a beautiful family!

February 19, 2012I was so anxious for sweet Max to arrive. His poor mama was on bedrest for a good portion of his pregnancy and I am certain she felt the same! It was especially exciting for me to be there as I attended the birth of their daughter Lucy two years prior. I love getting to photograph siblings!
This family demonstrates so much love for each other that it is always an honor to photograph them. It is just breathtaking hom much they love each other and you can feel it in every image. Once again, it was an honor to be there. Thanks for sharing it with me!
Oh and I know I never do color, but this Christmas Tree HAD to be left in color

December 13, 2011I was so excited to help welcome this little man into the world. This sweet family has six girls at home and were overjoyed to discover baby number 7 was a boy! I was blessed to be there when they had their 6th daughter, so it was so much fun to be there again. Little Joshua came out strong and mighty and had an opinion for sure. He may have been on the smaller side, but he wasn’t going to let that stop him. He is just simply delicious and I can only imagine he is never set down with all those sisters wanting to love on him all the time. Congrats, you guys! He is in the best home!
I was so excited to have a client go into labor on Turkey day and even more excited that it happened in the wee hours of the morning so I didn’t have to miss the feast! I was honored to attend this peaceful and beautiful birth and see a mom so calm and relaxed bring her sweet son into the world. It was the perfect way to spend Thanksgiving. Mr. Samuel arrived weighing 2 lbs bigger than his sister and oh was he cute! I can’t wait to get my hands on him again for our newborn session! Enjoy!

November 28, 2011I was there when this sweet boy’s older sister was born, so I was so thrilled to get to photograph his arrival as well. He came out with a ton of dark hair and was quite peaceful! Everyone was thrilled to meet him. Despite a brief stay in NICU, he is doing amazingly well and is getting bigger and stronger every day! Welcome to the world, little man!
I had the honor of photographing Caleb’s birth! I was a little worried about making to the hospital in time since he was number 3 and his brother and sister had arrived very quickly. Thankfully it all worked out perfectly. He came when he was ready and we were all ready for him! Not only was the birth beautiful, but he was too! Not to mention a little chunkier than we thought he would be. His mom and dad were so thrilled to meet him and it was a pleasure to get to photograph their first moments together.

October 21, 2011I have been lucky enough to photograph this sweet little boy since birth. I couldn’t belive that he is already one! With a very warm fall, we were able to really enjoy the evening shooting. We even took a dip in the creek!

September 29, 2011I was so excited to be at this birth and even though it was intense and a lot of work for mama, it was also full of laughter and joyous tears. It was so beautiful to watch this mama and papa bring their second son into the world. Not only is he just a sweet and handsome addition to the family, but I know he will be so loved. I am excited to share these photos, especially since they have family in Europe who I am sure are anxious to see the newest addition!

September 12, 2011I was so excited to get the call to come to this sweet girl’s birth. I was glad I left to go when I did, because when I got there, mom was already pushing! This sweet girl was in a hurry to arrive. Mom did an amazing job bringing her into the world and Dad was right there the whole time. Big brother was THRILLED to meet Ainsley once he woke from a deep sleep. Overall, a beautiful and calm homebirth where Ainsley was surrounded by love.

September 11, 2011Words can’t express the honor it was to be at this birth. Sweet Mercy was diagnosed with Trisomy 13 and was not expected to live. I was there to document the time they had with her and to share in the joy and sorrow of her birth. I was honored. Everything went smoothly and the staff at the hospital was really wonderful. The best part is Mercy is still with her family. They know she won’t last too much longer, but every minute they get to share with her is truly a gift from God.
